- BPL Plasma is now KEDPLASMA. In 2022, Kedrion Biopharma and Bio Products Laboratory (BPL) joined forces, and BPL’s 29 U.S. plasma centers were added to the KEDPLASMA network. Since late 2023, the former BPL centers have been remodeled and moved to the KEDPLASMA brand.
- No BPL coupon code exists today. Old “BPL Plasma coupons” you see online are expired. New donor pay is set by each KEDPLASMA center and applied when you register; no code is needed.

Here’s what happened, where to donate now, and how to get the most out of your donations in 2026.
What happened to BPL Plasma?
BPL Plasma was the U.S. plasma collection arm of Bio Products Laboratory, a UK-based maker of plasma medicines. In 2021, BPL sold 25 of its U.S. centers to Grifols. Then in 2022, Kedrion Biopharma and Bio Products Laboratory joined forces, adding BPL’s remaining 29 U.S. collection centers to the centers already operated by KEDPLASMA.
In late 2023, KEDPLASMA announced a nationwide remodeling project to consolidate all centers under the KEDPLASMA brand. Some former BPL locations closed temporarily during the work and then reopened as KEDPLASMA. Today, KEDPLASMA says it has more than 70 donation centers across the U.S.

Is there a BPL Plasma coupon or bonus code?
No. BPL Plasma no longer runs its own promotions, so any “BPL Plasma coupon” or “bonus code” you find online is out of date. At KEDPLASMA, the extra pay for new donors is set by each center and is given automatically when you register as a first-time donor. You don’t need to print or enter a coupon. To find the current new donor offer, check the page for your local center on the KEDPLASMA website, call the center, or look in the KEDPLASMA Donor App. Amounts differ from one city to another and change during the year.
Watch out for: sites asking you to pay for a “plasma coupon”, screenshots of “exclusive codes”, or apps that aren’t the official KEDPLASMA Donor App. Your center will never ask you for a code to receive the standard new donor pay.

How KEDLeague rewards work
KEDLeague is KEDPLASMA’s loyalty program (it replaced KEDREWARDS). It’s free, and you sign up after your first donation by downloading the KEDPLASMA Donor App on Google Play or the App Store. Allow about 48 hours after registering for your KEDPoints to appear.
- Earn KEDPoints for every qualified donation, plus bonuses for your birthday, your donation anniversary and donation milestones.
- Climb the levels: the more you donate, the higher your level, which unlocks more points per donation and premium gift cards.
- Redeem your points for gift cards in three categories: Food & Beverage, Shopping & Lifestyle, and Experience & Travel (KEDPLASMA lists brands such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, AMC and McDonald’s).
KEDPLASMA donor requirements
Generally, you can donate if you:
- Are at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama). KEDPLASMA’s FAQ lists an upper age of 65, so ask your center if you’re older.
- Weigh at least 110 pounds
- Are in good general health
- Pass a pre-screening physical by the center’s medical staff (medical history, medications, travel, tattoos and piercings)
What to bring to your first KEDPLASMA donation
- A valid, current government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license)
- Proof of your Social Security number
- Proof of residency showing your current address, dated within the last 30 days
Eat a full meal and drink plenty of water before you go: it makes the donation easier and helps you pass the screening.
How long does a visit take and how often can you donate?
Plan for about 2 hours on your first visit, which includes a physical exam and medical history screening. Later visits take a little over an hour from check-in to the end of the donation. You can donate up to twice in a seven-day period, with at least 48 hours between donations.
Tips to earn the most at KEDPLASMA
- Join KEDLeague right after your first donation and opt in to communications for the 1,600-point bonus.
- Aim for 8 donations in a calendar month to collect the 1,200-point bonus (twice a week, 48 hours apart).
- Ask about special bonuses if you’re a student, firefighter, police officer or in the military.
- Check your center’s page or the app before each visit: promotions change during the year.
- Book your visits in advance to avoid long waits on busy days.
