Does Under Armour Offer a Military Discount? (2026): Yes, 20% Off Online and 10% at Factory House
Last updated: November 6, 2026 · We checked Under Armour’s official Military & First Responder Discount FAQ, its ID.me Military Discount page and its Promos & Offers page on November 6, 2026. Policies can change, so confirm the current terms on underarmour.com or at checkout before you buy.

- Yes: Under Armour gives verified military members 20% off on UA.com, in the UA App and at UA Brand House stores, and 10% off at UA Factory House.
- Who qualifies: active duty, retirees, veterans, military spouses and military family members. First responders, healthcare workers and teachers get the same 20%.
- How to verify: through ID.me. Select “Verify with ID.me” in your bag or at checkout.
- Stacking: it can’t be combined with other promo codes or sitewide promotions, and it doesn’t apply to gift card purchases.
- Bigger at times: Under Armour says the discount “may be greater during promotional timeframes.” In the past it has doubled around Veterans Day.
Under Armour has one of the simpler military discounts in athletic apparel. Verify once with ID.me and you get 20% off your order on UA.com and in the UA App. The same rate applies at UA Brand House stores. At UA Factory House outlets the rate is lower, at 10%.
Below is what Under Armour’s own pages say about who qualifies, how to apply the discount online and in stores, what it can’t be combined with, and other ways to cut the price of UA gear. We left out anything we couldn’t confirm.

How the Under Armour military discount works
Under Armour works with ID.me, a third-party identity service, to confirm that you’re eligible. You don’t get a printable coupon. After you verify, Under Armour applies the offer to your order. Its FAQ says the discount is active immediately once ID.me confirms your status.
The standard rate is 20% off on UA.com, in the UA App and at UA Brand House stores. Factory House, Under Armour’s outlet chain, has its own rate of 10% for verified members. Under Armour also notes that the discount may be bigger during promotions. For example, in November 2023 the company doubled it to 40% online and at Brand Houses, and to 20% at Factory Houses, for about two weeks around Veterans Day.
Signing up through ID.me doesn’t subscribe you to ID.me marketing emails, according to Under Armour’s FAQ. Your ID.me account also works with other retailers that use the same service.
How to get the discount online: step by step
- Add items to your bag on underarmour.com or in the UA App.
- In your bag or at checkout, select Verify with ID.me and choose Military. First responders, healthcare workers and teachers pick their own group.
- Sign in to your ID.me account, or create one and verify your military status. First-time verification can ask for documents.
- Return to checkout. The discount should appear on your order. Under Armour’s FAQ calls this choosing “Military and First Responder Discount” at checkout.
- Check the order total before you pay. If you entered another promo code, the military discount won’t stack with it, so keep whichever saves more.

Who is eligible and what’s excluded
Military: Under Armour lists active-duty service members, retirees, veterans, military spouses and military family members. The 2023 Veterans Day announcement also named reservists.
First responders and healthcare workers: active police, firefighters, nurses, doctors and EMTs get the same 20% (10% at Factory House).
Teachers and educators: Under Armour’s FAQ says it now offers 20% off to teachers and educators as well, verified through ID.me.
Exclusions:
- It can’t be combined with other promotional codes.
- It can’t be combined with sitewide promotions.
- It doesn’t apply to gift card purchases.
- It’s only for the verified member. Under Armour says you can’t share it with friends who aren’t eligible, and that ID.me can detect abuse and revoke access.
The official FAQ doesn’t list a yearly cap or a limit on the number of orders. It also doesn’t explain how returns are refunded on discounted orders. Expect to get back the amount you actually paid, and check with customer service if you’re unsure.
Using the discount in UA Brand House and Factory House stores
Under Armour says the discount covers UA Brand House stores at 20% and UA Factory House stores at 10%. The official FAQ explains the online checkout steps but not the in-store process. Ask at the register how to apply your verified status, and bring your military ID or other proof of service in case the store asks for it.
Some third-party guides say veterans can show a Veteran ID Card, a VA health card or a driver’s license with a veteran designation in stores. Under Armour’s own FAQ doesn’t spell this out, so treat it as a tip rather than official policy.

Other ways to save at Under Armour
- Email and text sign-up: Under Armour’s Promos & Offers page offers 15% off when you sign up for emails and texts. The military discount doesn’t stack with other promo codes, so compare the two and use the larger one.
- Armour Access (formerly UA Rewards): Under Armour’s loyalty program earns 5 points per $1 spent, plus points for things like reviews and downloading the app. Members also get early access to drops, sales and members-only products.
- Student discount: Under Armour’s site links its student discount to UNiDAYS. The official page doesn’t state the current percentage, so check UNiDAYS for the live offer.
- Outlet section and Factory House: outlet prices are already reduced. Compare the outlet price with 10% off against a full-price item with 20% off.
- Veterans Day and Memorial Day: watch underarmour.com around these holidays. Under Armour has raised the discount for limited periods before.
Tips and common mistakes
- Do the math on sale items. Since the discount doesn’t stack with sitewide promotions, a big sitewide sale can sometimes beat 20% off. Try both and keep the lower total.
- Verify before a big holiday sale. ID.me can ask for documents. Doing it early avoids delays when a limited-time increase is running.
- Don’t buy gift cards with it. Gift card purchases are excluded.
- Use your own account. Sharing the discount breaks Under Armour’s terms and can get your ID.me access revoked.
- Expect a lower rate at outlets. At Factory House the discount is 10%, not 20%.
