Does Adidas Offer a Military Discount? (2026): Yes, 30% Off With ID.me
Last updated: November 6, 2026 · We checked adidas’s official US discount programs page on November 6, 2026. The percentage, ID.me verification steps, monthly limits and exclusions below come from that page. Policies can change, so confirm the current terms on adidas.com or with your local store before you buy.

- Yes: adidas US gives 30% off to verified military members, including active duty, veterans, retirees, spouses and dependents.
- Verification: through ID.me, either in your online shopping bag or through ID.me links on adidas’s discount programs page.
- Where it works: on adidas.com, in adidas stores and at adidas factory outlets.
- Limits: up to 2 discounted orders per month online, and 1 per month in stores and 1 per month at factory outlets.
- Exclusions: select Samba, Gazelle, Stan Smith, Superstar, Ultraboost, NMD, adizero and Y-3 styles, plus final sale items, gift cards and Confirmed app purchases.
If you’re in the military or have served, adidas has an official discount for you. It’s part of the brand’s “Heroes” program. The same 30% off also covers first responders, teachers, nurses, medical providers, hospital employees and seniors 65 and older, all verified through ID.me.
The offer is solid, but it has more limits than most people expect. Several of the most popular sneaker lines are excluded, and there are monthly caps for each way you can shop. Below we cover how to verify, how to use it online and in stores, and what to check before you count on 30% off.

Who qualifies for the adidas military discount?
adidas’s discount programs page lists military eligibility as “active duty, veterans, retirees, spouses, dependents, and more.” That’s a broad group, so military families can use it too, not just the service member. ID.me decides whether you’re eligible, so the exact documents you need depend on your status. For example, a veteran might use a DD-214 or VA ID, and a spouse might use a dependent ID.
The same 30% offer is open to other verified groups:
- First responders (active or retired): police, firefighters, EMTs, 911 dispatchers and others.
- Teachers: classroom teachers, principals, school staff, college professors and others.
- Nurses: APRNs, RNs and LPNs/PNs.
- Medical providers: doctors, clinical technicians, dentists, pharmacists and therapists.
- Hospital employees: verified with a document or an employee email address.
- Seniors 65+: verified with a driver’s license or other ID.
We didn’t find a student discount among the groups on adidas’s US discount programs page when we checked.
How to use the adidas military discount online
On adidas.com, you verify during checkout instead of copying a code. Here’s how it works:
- Sign in to your adidas account. You can create one for free if you don’t have one yet.
- Add eligible items to your bag. Check the exclusions list first so you don’t fill your cart with excluded styles.
- In the bag, open “Use a promo code” and select “Verify with ID.me.”
- Log in to ID.me, or create an account and verify your military status.
- The discount applies automatically to eligible items. Check the order summary before you pay.
You can do this up to 2 times per month online. If you plan several purchases in one month, combine items into fewer orders.

Using the discount in adidas stores and factory outlets
The discount also works in person, but in-store purchases need a code generated before you get to the register:
- Go to adidas’s discount programs page and use the in-store ID.me link (adidas stores) or the separate factory outlet ID.me link.
- Verify with ID.me to get your unique code.
- Show or enter the code at checkout, and make sure the discount appears on your receipt before you pay.
adidas limits in-store use to 1 discount per month, and factory outlet use to 1 discount per month. Each has its own link, so get the right code for where you’re shopping. The official page lists the offer as 30% off without a different rate for outlets. Some third-party sites list a lower outlet percentage, so if the amount at the register looks wrong, ask the store to check.
What’s excluded from the adidas military discount
This is where most people get caught out. adidas says exclusions apply “including but not limited to” the following:
- Select Gazelle, Samba, Spezial, Stan Smith, Superstar, Ultraboost, NMD, adizero and Y-3 styles.
- Campus, SL 72, 4D, Pharrell x adidas, Disney and Human Made products.
- Limited-edition Originals.
- Final sale products and gift cards.
- Purchases in the Confirmed app (adidas’s app for limited releases).
- Prior purchases. You can’t get the discount applied to an order you already placed. The offer is also not for resale.
Because the list says “select” styles and “not limited to,” the only reliable test is your bag total. If an item doesn’t show the 30% reduction after you verify, it’s probably excluded.

Can you stack it with sales, promo codes or adiClub?
adidas’s discount programs page doesn’t say whether the military discount combines with other promotions or whether it applies to items that are already on sale. Online, you activate it in the same “Use a promo code” area as other codes, so don’t assume you can add a second code on top. Compare the price with each option and keep whichever is lower.
adiClub, adidas’s free loyalty program, is worth joining anyway, since you need to sign in to an adidas account to use the military discount online. According to adidas’s adiClub page:
- Membership is free, and members get free shipping and free returns.
- You earn 10 adiClub points for every $1 spent, 100 points for creating an account and 100 points for completing your profile.
- New members get a welcome voucher (the sign-up banner advertised 15% off when we checked).
- There are four levels, and points can be swapped for vouchers that are usually valid for 60 days on select products.
On many items, 30% off beats a 15% welcome voucher. But if you want something the military discount excludes, an adiClub voucher or a sitewide sale may be your only way to save.
Tips and common mistakes
- Check the exclusions before you shop. Many of adidas’s best-selling sneakers are on the list, so plan around them.
- Use your monthly orders wisely. With 2 online uses a month, it’s better to put everything in one order than to place several small ones.
- Get your in-store code before you get to the store. ID.me verification can take a while if it’s your first time, especially if you have to upload documents.
- Don’t buy first and ask later. The discount isn’t valid on prior purchases.
- Compare with sale prices. During big sales, check whether the sale price alone is lower than 30% off full price.
- Need help with verification? adidas points ID.me issues to ID.me support at help.id.me.
