KEDPLASMA Pay for New Donors (2026): Local Bonus, KEDLeague Rewards and How Payment Works

Last updated: October 19, 2026 · Every KEDPLASMA rule below was checked on the official kedplasma.us website (new donors page, donation requirements, FAQ, KEDLeague program page, donation centers page and a local center promo page) on October 19, 2026. KEDPLASMA says each center sets its own compensation schedule, so confirm the current offer with your local center before your first visit.

Quick answer
  • How much KEDPLASMA pays new donors: there is no single national rate. KEDPLASMA’s FAQ says “each center has a slightly different compensation schedule” and tells you to check with your local center. As one example, the El Paso (Dyer St.) center’s official promo page advertises up to $300 for your first 3 donations, plus a $60 bonus after the 2nd successful donation.
  • Rewards program: KEDREWARDS is now KEDLeague. You earn KEDPoints per qualified donation and redeem them for e-gift cards in the KEDPLASMA Donor App, with an extra 1,200 bonus KEDPoints on your 8th donation of the calendar month.
  • Who can donate: at least 18 (19 in Alabama), at least 110 pounds, in good health, with a government photo ID, proof of a Social Security number and current proof of residency.
  • How often: up to twice in a seven-day period, with at least 48 hours between donations. Plan on about 2 hours for your first visit.

KEDPLASMA is the U.S. plasma collection network of Kedrion Biopharma, and it now says it runs more than 70 donation centers across 23 states. If you are thinking about donating for the first time, the two questions that matter are simple: how much will I get, and how does the money (and the rewards program) actually work? The honest answer to the first one is that it depends on your center, and KEDPLASMA says so itself.

Below: what KEDPLASMA officially publishes about new-donor pay, a real example of a local new-donor offer, how KEDLeague points work, the eligibility rules, and what the company does not publish.

How much does KEDPLASMA pay new donors?

KEDPLASMA does not publish a nationwide pay chart. Its FAQ answers “Are you compensated for donating plasma?” with “Yes! Each center has a slightly different compensation schedule; check with your local center for their current compensation.” The donation centers page says the same thing in different words: contact your nearest center directly or visit in person for current programs and compensation.

What KEDPLASMA does publish is local landing pages on promo.kedplasma.us. The one we checked today, for the El Paso center at 9813 Dyer Street, advertises:

  • Up to $300 for your first 3 plasma donations as a new donor.
  • A $60 bonus, marked with an asterisk, paid “after the 2nd successful donation.”
  • No end date and no time window for the three donations are shown on the page, so ask the center before you count on the full amount.

Treat that offer as an example, not a promise for your city. “Up to” means the top of the range, and the page doesn’t break down how much each of the three visits pays. Other centers can advertise different amounts or none at all. Any “KEDPLASMA pay chart” you find on third-party sites isn’t from KEDPLASMA.

KEDLeague: how the KEDPLASMA rewards program works

KEDPLASMA renamed its loyalty program: the site now says “KEDREWARDS is now KEDLeague.” The KEDLeague page describes it as “extra compensation for your plasma donation in the form of KEDPoints.” Here is how it works according to that page:

  1. Donate once first. KEDPLASMA asks you to sign up for KEDLeague after your first donation.
  2. Get the KEDPLASMA Donor App from the App Store or Google Play and enroll with your 8-digit Donor ID (including leading zeros). You confirm with a one-time code sent by email or phone and accept the terms.
  3. Wait for your points to appear. “Once you’ve registered, allow 48 hours for your KEDPoints to display.” You must be enrolled to receive any KEDPoints.
  4. Earn points for each qualified donation, plus extra points for birthdays, donation anniversaries and donation milestones, and 1,200 bonus KEDPoints on your 8th donation of the calendar month.
  5. Redeem for e-gift cards in the app’s Gift Card Catalog, in three categories: Food & Beverage, Shopping & Lifestyle, and Experience & Travel. KEDPLASMA names retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, AMC and McDonald’s, and says the options change periodically.

KEDLeague also has levels: “The more you donate, the higher your level rises in our reward system,” with more points per donation and access to more premium gift cards at higher levels. KEDPLASMA doesn’t publish the level names, thresholds or points per donation on its website, so check the app.

Two extras are worth knowing. Firefighters, military personnel, police officers and students who show a valid ID to staff get extra bonus KEDPoints for each qualified donation. And turning on communications in the app (Settings > Communication) earns a one-time 1,600 KEDPoint bonus.

How KEDPLASMA payment works (and what isn’t published)

This is where the official site is thin. KEDPLASMA’s pages say you’ll be “compensated,” but none of the pages we checked today explains how donation pay is loaded. The FAQ still says the old KEDREWARDS program “offers additional compensation in the form of point rewards for donations and referrals via a Wirecard Prepaid Card.” That wording predates the KEDLeague rename, and the current KEDLeague page only describes redemption as e-gift cards.

  • Donation pay: paid by your center under its own compensation schedule. The card provider and loading time aren’t stated on the current site, so ask at check-in.
  • KEDPoints: extra rewards on top of pay, redeemed for e-gift cards. No points-to-dollar rate is published.
  • Referrals: the FAQ mentions rewards for referrals, but no current referral amount or terms are published.
  • Former BPL Plasma donors: BPL Plasma is now part of the KEDPLASMA community, and KEDPLASMA says BPL Plasma card balances can’t be transferred.

KEDPLASMA eligibility: age, weight and ID

KEDPLASMA’s donation requirements page lists what you need to become a donor:

  • Age: at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama). The FAQ adds an upper limit: “You have to be between 18 and 65 years old to donate plasma.”
  • Weight: at least 110 pounds (see our guide to plasma donation weight requirements and pay).
  • Health: good general health. Your first visit includes a medical exam covering medical history, medications, travel, and tattoos or piercings.
  • Photo ID: a valid, current government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license.
  • Social Security: proof of a Social Security number (the requirements page asks for a Social Security card).
  • Proof of residency: for example a lease or a utility bill. The FAQ asks for mail with a visible postmark from the previous 30 days showing your current address.
  • Pregnancy: you can’t donate plasma while pregnant.

If you are Rh-negative, KEDPLASMA also runs a specialty Anti-D program at selected centers with its own requirements. Contact KEDPLASMA through that program’s page rather than a regular center.

How often you can donate and how long it takes

KEDPLASMA says you can donate “twice in a seven-day period with at least 48 hours in-between donation visits,” in line with the general U.S. rule explained in our guide to how often you can donate plasma. Plan on about 2 hours for your first visit. Later visits take “a little over an hour from check-in through completion of donation.” Returning donors get a physical exam once a year and a blood sample every four months, and anyone who hasn’t donated in 6 months should expect a longer visit.

How to book your first KEDPLASMA donation

  1. Find your center with the zip code locator on kedplasma.us (states include Texas, Florida, Georgia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Arizona, Colorado, Utah and more).
  2. Check the local offer. Look for your center’s promo page or call the center, since compensation is set locally. The El Paso page, for example, lists a “REGISTER TODAY” button and the center’s phone number.
  3. Bring your documents: photo ID, Social Security proof and a recent piece of mail. Our checklist of what to bring to your first plasma donation covers the rest.
  4. Eat, hydrate and allow about 2 hours.
  5. After your first donation, download the Donor App and join KEDLeague so your later donations earn KEDPoints.

KEDPLASMA’s main site doesn’t describe a national online appointment system, and its app page doesn’t say whether the app books appointments. If you want to skip the kiosk later, KEDExpress lets returning donors fill in the questionnaire on their phone on the day of donation. New donors, and donors who haven’t donated in 180 days, must complete it at the center.
