CSL Plasma iGive Rewards (2026): How Points Work and What They’re Worth
Last updated: October 18, 2026 · Every iGive Rewards rule below was checked on the official CSL Plasma website (rewards page, FAQ, return-donor offers and referral program terms) on October 18, 2026. CSL says offers vary by location and can change without notice, so confirm the current terms in the CSL Plasma app before you rely on them.

- How points work: CSL Plasma iGive Rewards points are earned by referring new donors, and the current offer (07/01/26 to 12/31/26) gives the referrer $100 in iGive Rewards points per eligible referral once the friend completes 2 donations within 30 days.
- What they’re worth: CSL states the referral reward in dollars (“$100 in iGive Rewards points”) but does not publish a points-to-dollar conversion rate. Points are redeemed in the app and transferred as cash to your CSL Plasma debit card within 24 to 48 business hours.
- Not per donation: CSL’s FAQ calls iGive Rewards its “donor referral program.” Your regular donation pay goes straight to your prepaid card and is not paid in points.
- Expiration: points expire if you go more than 30 days without donating or 180 days without logging in, then keep expiring every 30 days until you log in or donate.
If you donate at CSL Plasma, you have probably seen “iGive Rewards” in the app and wondered whether it is a points-per-visit loyalty club. In 2026 it isn’t. CSL’s own FAQ describes iGive Rewards as its referral program: you earn points when a friend you refer becomes a new donor and completes the required donations, and you cash those points out to the same prepaid card that receives your donation pay. For the new-donor promo and the current CSL offers in one place, see our main CSL Plasma coupons and bonus rewards page.
Below: how points are earned, what they’re worth (and what CSL doesn’t say), the expiration rules, and how iGive fits with the new-donor offer.

What is CSL Plasma iGive Rewards?
iGive Rewards® is the rewards account inside the CSL Plasma app and the My Account page on cslplasma.com. CSL’s FAQ calls it the company’s “donor referral program,” and the return-donor page adds that “all referral bonuses are awarded through iGive Rewards®.”
Many older posts describe iGive as a points-per-donation loyalty program with levels, but none of the official CSL pages we checked today mention points per donation, milestones, tiers or levels. Local promotions show in the app; the nationally published rules are referral-based.

How you earn iGive points: the referral rules
The current referral offer runs from July 1 to December 31, 2026, according to CSL’s return-donor page. For a referral to pay out, both sides have to meet specific conditions from the official referral program terms:
- You (the referrer) must be an active donor, meaning at least one successful donation in the past 180 days, and must have an active iGive Rewards account. Lapsed donors (180+ days) and CSL Plasma employees can’t earn referral rewards.
- Your friend (the new donor) must have never donated at CSL Plasma before and must have an active iGive Rewards account.
- The code deadline: your friend has to apply your referral code in the app within 7 days of their first donation.
- The donation requirement: your friend must complete 2 successful donations within 30 days of their first donation.
- Timing of the reward: points are issued only after the new donor meets all requirements, and you can follow the status on the referral dashboard in the app.
- Where it’s valid: U.S. centers only; the offer is void in Puerto Rico.
One detail trips up new donors: iGive activation needs a donor number, which the center assigns at registration. CSL says iGive must be activated once your friend has their donor ID, so they should do it right after the first visit to stay inside the 7-day code window.

What are iGive points worth?
Here is the honest answer: CSL Plasma does not publish a points-to-dollar conversion rate on any page we checked. What it does publish is the referral reward expressed in dollars, “$100 in iGive Rewards® points,” and the fact that points can be redeemed for cash on your CSL Plasma debit card. The referral terms add that points “have no cash value except as provided through authorized redemption methods,” which means the app redemption is the only way to turn them into money.
Rather than trusting a conversion figure from a forum, check the app: your points history shows under the “My Donations” tab of your iGive Rewards account.
How to redeem iGive Rewards points
- Download the CSL Plasma app (App Store or Google Play) or go to My Account on cslplasma.com.
- Sign in with your donor number, last name, date of birth and the last four digits of your Social Security number. If you don’t know your donor number, CSL says to contact your preferred center.
- Activate iGive Rewards if you haven’t already. You need an active account before you refer anyone.
- Check your balance and the referral dashboard to see which referrals have qualified.
- Redeem for cash. CSL says the cash reaches your debit card within 24 to 48 business hours.
iGive points expiration: the rule to remember
CSL’s FAQ (“Do iGive Rewards® expire?”) lists two triggers. Your points expire if there is a lapse in donations of more than 30 days, or if you don’t log in to your account at least once in 180 days (6 months). After that first expiration, iGive Rewards “will continue to expire monthly (every 30 days) thereafter” until you log in or donate again.
CSL’s own advice is to redeem points for cash as often as possible, especially if you are deferred for a long time.
How iGive works with the CSL new-donor offer
iGive points and new-donor pay are two separate things. As of today, CSL’s homepage and rewards page advertise that new donors can receive up to $800 in the first month, and the rewards page adds up to $100 for the first donation, both marked “varies by location and is subject to change.” That money is donation pay loaded onto the prepaid card, not iGive points.
- If you’re the new donor: you get the local new-donor pay for your visits. Entering a friend’s code is what lets them earn the $100 in points under the current terms. CSL’s blog says that when a referred donor completes the required donations “you both will receive a bonus,” but the current published terms only state the referrer’s $100, so check the app for what your center offers the new donor.
- If you’re a returning donor: the separate Welcome Back Bonus ($50 on your first and 5th donation within 30 days, for donors who haven’t given in 180+ days) “cannot be combined with any other promotions, bonuses, or offers.” You also can’t earn referral points while lapsed, because you must have donated in the past 180 days.
- Pay is weight-based: CSL’s FAQ says donor payments are based on your weight on the day of donation, with five weight tiers, so the “up to” figures won’t apply to everyone.

Tips and mistakes to avoid
- Expecting points for every donation. The official program is referral-based; your per-visit pay goes to the card.
- Referring someone who already donated at CSL. The referee must have no prior CSL donations.
- Letting your friend miss the 7-day code window or visit two. FDA rules allow up to two donations in 7 days, at least 2 days apart (see how often you can donate plasma), so 2 donations within 30 days is very doable if visit two is booked early.
- Going quiet before cashing out. A 30-day donation gap starts the expiration clock, so redeem before a planned break and enable app notifications to see new offers.
- Trusting old “iGive promo codes.” CSL doesn’t publish public iGive promo codes; the only code that matters is a donor’s personal referral code from the app.

Frequently asked questions
How do you earn points on CSL Plasma iGive Rewards?
You earn iGive Rewards points by referring new donors to CSL Plasma. Under the offer running from July 1 to December 31, 2026, you receive $100 in iGive Rewards points for each eligible referral once your friend applies your code within 7 days of their first donation and completes 2 donations within 30 days.
How much is 1 iGive point worth?
CSL Plasma does not publish a value per point. It states the referral reward in dollars (“$100 in iGive Rewards® points”) and lets you redeem points for cash on your CSL Plasma debit card, so check your balance and redemption amount in the app.
Do CSL iGive points expire?
Yes. Points expire if you go more than 30 days without donating or don’t log in at least once in 180 days, and they keep expiring every 30 days after that until you log in or donate, so CSL recommends redeeming often.
How long does it take for iGive Rewards to go on my card?
CSL says that once you redeem points in the app, the cash is loaded to your CSL Plasma debit card within 24 to 48 business hours.
Do you get iGive points for every plasma donation at CSL?
Not under the program CSL publishes today. CSL’s FAQ describes iGive Rewards as its donor referral program, and your regular donation pay is loaded directly onto your prepaid card instead of being paid in points.
