ADMA BioCenters Donor Compensation 2026: How Much Does ADMA Pay for Plasma?

Last updated: October 15, 2026 · Figures checked on the official ADMA BioCenters website (compensation, Buddy Bonus, FAQ and center pages). ADMA states that compensation amounts are subject to change, so confirm with your local center.

Quick answer
  • New donors: every ADMA BioCenters location page says you can earn up to $825 as a new donor, with the note that compensation amounts are subject to change.
  • Regular donors: ADMA does not publish a standard per-visit rate. You are paid after each successful donation, and returning donors can ask their center about monthly incentives.
  • Referral (Buddy Bonus): you get paid on-site once the friend you referred has donated twice. The program page lists $75 per friend, while the homepage banner says $100, so ask your center which amount applies.
  • Payment: a Paysign® ADMA BioCenters Visa® prepaid card, issued after your first donation and reloaded automatically after each one.

ADMA BioCenters is a smaller plasma network than the big national chains. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of ADMA Biologics, Inc., and the company says its centers are FDA-licensed facilities collecting plasma that is used to make medications that help treat and prevent infections. If you live near one of its seven centers in Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina or South Carolina, it’s worth knowing exactly how the pay works before your first visit.

This guide sticks to what ADMA BioCenters actually publishes on its own website: the new donor offer, how you get paid, the Buddy Bonus referral program, eligibility rules and what to bring. Where ADMA doesn’t give a number, we say so instead of guessing.

New donor pay: up to $825

The clearest figure ADMA publishes is on its center pages: “Earn up to $825 as a new donor!” We checked all seven location pages, and each one shows the same headline amount. The compensation page itself is less specific. It tells new donors to ask about the new donor loyalty bonus program, and the homepage invites you to ask about “special compensation for new donors.”

The word “up to” matters. ADMA doesn’t publish how the $825 is split across visits, how many donations you need to complete or the deadline for completing them. Before your first visit, call your center or ask at the front desk:

  • How many donations are needed to earn the full new donor amount?
  • Within what time window must they be completed?
  • How much is paid on the first visit versus later visits?
  • Does the extra $10 second-visit coupon still apply?

How much do regular ADMA donors make?

ADMA BioCenters does not post a standard per-donation rate for returning donors. Its compensation page says only that qualified donors can donate up to twice a week and are paid after each donation, and that returning donors should contact their local center for monthly incentives. Some donors may also qualify for special collection programs that pay more. ADMA says these amounts vary, may change and are available only to eligible donors.

In practice, your ongoing earnings depend on your center’s current rate and promotions and on how often you donate. ADMA says a donor can give up to two donations within a 7-day period, with at least 1 day between donations.

How ADMA BioCenters pays you

According to ADMA’s FAQ, you receive a Paysign® ADMA BioCenters Visa® prepaid card after your first donation. After each successful donation, your compensation is transferred to the card automatically. The compensation page adds that the money sits in an electronic account linked to the card. You can withdraw it electronically or spend it anywhere debit cards are accepted.

Card terms, your balance and any fees are managed through Paysign (mypaysign.com). Read the cardholder fee schedule so ATM or other fees don’t eat into your pay.

Buddy Bonus: ADMA’s referral program

ADMA BioCenters doesn’t use printable coupons or promo codes for referrals. Instead, it runs the Buddy Bonus Program:

  1. Fill out the form on the Buddy Bonus page to invite a friend or family member.
  2. ADMA sends you a ready-to-forward message to share with them.
  3. Your friend donates twice at an ADMA BioCenters location.
  4. You’re paid on-site at the center once their second donation is complete.

The amount is inconsistent on the official site: the Buddy Bonus page says $75 for every friend, while the homepage banner says $100. ADMA notes that the offer is for eligible donors only and can change without notice, so confirm the current amount with your center before counting on it.

ADMA BioCenters donor requirements

ADMA’s How to Donate page says you can donate if you:

  • Are 18 to 65 years old
  • Weigh at least 110 lbs
  • Are in good health
  • Have had no piercings, tattoos or permanent makeup in the last 4 months
  • Live within 50 miles of the center

You can’t donate while pregnant or breastfeeding, and screening can lead to a temporary or permanent deferral. If you’ve given whole blood, ADMA says you can donate plasma 8 weeks later.

Items to bring to a first plasma donation: photo ID, Social Security card and a recent piece of mail on a table

What to bring to your first ADMA donation

  • A current, valid photo ID showing your date of birth (government-issued)
  • Proof of your Social Security number, such as your Social Security card
  • Proof of current residency: mail addressed to you at your current address, postmarked within the past 30 days (the How to Donate page also mentions a utility bill or lease)

The name on your ID must exactly match your Social Security card (or ITIN). If it doesn’t, you won’t be able to donate. Plan for about 120 minutes on your first visit and about 90 minutes on later visits. ADMA strongly recommends that first-time donors book an appointment through its app.

Tips to get the most out of ADMA BioCenters

  • Ask about the new donor schedule up front so you don’t miss a visit needed to reach the full “up to $825.”
  • Use Donor ADvantage once you’re a returning donor. You complete the questionnaire online on the day you donate, then scan a QR code at check-in to skip the kiosk. First-time donors must check in at the center.
  • Ask about monthly incentives at every visit, because ADMA doesn’t post them online.
  • Prepare properly: ADMA recommends drinking water or juice, skipping alcohol and caffeine, eating a protein- and iron-rich meal within 2 hours before donating, and avoiding fatty foods, which can make your plasma milky and lead to no donation that day.
  • Dress warm, because ADMA says its centers are kept cool. The centers offer free Wi-Fi and a TV at each station.
