Valvoline Coupons (October 2026): $15 Off Synthetic, $10 Off Conventional Oil Changes + $5 Oil Rebate
Last updated: October 15, 2026 · Offers checked on vioc.com (national coupon page and individual store pages) and valvolineglobal.com. Coupon amounts vary by location and change every few weeks.
- On October 15, 2026, vioc.com’s national coupon page shows $15 off any Valvoline full-service synthetic/synthetic blend oil change and $10 off any full-service conventional oil change, both expiring 10/30/2026.
- Your local store may show different coupons: store pages we checked listed $20 off for new customers, $15 off any full-service oil change and a discount on additional services.
- No promo code to type: you text, email, print or save the coupon (mobile wallet) and show it at the store.
- Coupons are not valid with other same-service offers, fleet discounts or customer-supplied oil.
- Changing your own oil? Valvoline Global offers $5 cash back on 5 quarts of Valvoline motor oil (up to $30 per person, through 7/31/2027).
Valvoline Instant Oil Change doesn’t use checkout codes. Its savings come as barcoded coupons you show at the service center. The confusing part is that there are two layers: a national coupon page on vioc.com, and a separate coupon list on each store’s page, which can be bigger or smaller than the national one. This guide shows exactly what the official sites list today, how to get the best one for your location, and what the fine print excludes.
One more thing to know before you start: “Valvoline” is now two different companies. Valvoline Inc. runs the Valvoline Instant Oil Change service centers (vioc.com), while Valvoline Global makes and sells the motor oil you buy at retailers (valvolineglobal.com). Oil change coupons come from the first; motor oil rebates come from the second.
Current Valvoline Instant Oil Change coupons (October 2026)
Here is what the official vioc.com coupon page displayed when we checked on October 15, 2026:
| Coupon | Service | Expires | Main conditions |
|---|---|---|---|
| $15 off | Any Valvoline full-service synthetic or synthetic blend oil change | 10/30/2026 | Up to 5 quarts, filter (premium extra), lube and maintenance check; plus tax and other charges |
| $10 off | Any Valvoline full-service conventional oil change | 10/30/2026 | Same inclusions; participating locations only |
The fine print on both coupons says they are not valid with other offers or discounts on the same service (fleet pricing included) or with customer-supplied oil, are good only at participating locations, and have no cash value.
Local store coupons can be better
Every Valvoline Instant Oil Change location has its own page on store.vioc.com with a “Coupons” section. These local offers are not always the same as the national page. Two examples we checked on October 15, 2026:
| Store (example) | Coupons listed | Expires |
|---|---|---|
| Chicago, IL (N Western Ave) | $20 off any full-service oil change (new customers only); $15 off any full-service oil change; 20% off additional services | 10/29/2026 |
| Los Angeles, CA (National Blvd) | $15 off any full-service oil change; $20 off any full-service oil change (new customers only); $15 off additional services | 11/13/2026 |
Two takeaways: the new customer coupon is worth checking if it’s your first visit, and the additional services coupon applies to extra work like a wiper, air filter or fluid service, not the oil change itself. At the Los Angeles store, the additional services discount excluded batteries. Other stores may show different amounts or none at all, so always look at your own location’s page.
How to get a Valvoline coupon, step by step
- Open the coupon page. Go to the Coupons tab on vioc.com to see the national offers.
- Find your store. Use the Locations search (city or ZIP) and open your store’s page. Scroll to its Coupons section and compare it with the national offers.
- Pick the best single offer for your service: synthetic, synthetic blend, conventional, or a new customer coupon if you qualify.
- Save it. Each coupon has Text, Email and Print buttons; the national page also mentions saving to your mobile wallet.
- Show it before the service starts. Valvoline’s oil changes are stay-in-your-car and need no appointment, so mention the coupon when the technician greets you.

The Valvoline Instant Oil Change app
Valvoline describes its app as a way to save time and money. According to vioc.com, it shows estimated wait times at nearby stores, stores personalized coupons and special offers, and sends push notifications with money-saving offers. Valvoline doesn’t publish a fixed amount for app coupons, so treat them as a possible extra source of offers rather than a guaranteed discount. Comparing the app’s coupon with your store page before you go is the simplest way to pick the bigger one.
Can you stack Valvoline coupons?
Generally, no. The coupon fine print on vioc.com says each offer is not valid with other same-service offers or discounts, including fleet pricing. Valvoline Global’s FAQ says the same in broader terms: most coupons can’t be combined with other offers. In practice, use one coupon per service. Because the additional services coupon covers a different service than the oil change, ask your store whether it can be used on the same visit; the published fine print doesn’t say either way.
Expired coupons aren’t accepted: Valvoline Global’s FAQ says coupons must be used before their expiration date. Since the national coupons we saw expire on October 30, 2026, check the page again after that date for the new set.
What does a Valvoline full-service oil change include?
The coupons apply to the full-service oil change, which according to the coupon details includes up to 5 quarts of Valvoline motor oil (or a suitable alternative), a new filter (premium filters cost extra), lubrication and a maintenance check. Valvoline says the service takes about 15 minutes, needs no appointment and includes an 18-point maintenance check while you stay in your car.
Valvoline doesn’t publish one national price. Its FAQ says the price depends on the type of oil, the number of quarts your engine needs and any discounts, and that prices can vary by vehicle, region and local factors. Call your store for an exact quote, then apply the coupon.
Valvoline motor oil rebate (if you change your own oil)
If you do your own oil changes, the savings come from Valvoline Global, not from the service centers. Its current Cash Back on Motor Oil offer, as listed on valvolineglobal.com:
- $5 back when you buy five quarts of any Valvoline motor oil (one 5-quart jug or five 1-quart bottles), in store or online.
- Purchase window: August 1, 2026 to July 31, 2027; submit by August 14, 2027.
- Paid as a Visa virtual reward by email or a check by mail.
- Limit of 6 rewards ($30) per person, with a separate receipt for each purchase.
- Excluded: Premium Blue heavy duty engine oil, and oil installation services, so an oil change at a service center doesn’t qualify.
- Open to legal US residents 18+ (excluding Rhode Island) and D.C.
Submit the rebate online with an itemized receipt showing the product, date, price and retailer. Valvoline Global also lists retailer promotions (Advance, AutoZone, O’Reilly) and a Subscribe & Save program at 10–20% off each delivery.
Military, senior and fleet discounts
We didn’t find a national military, veteran, senior or student discount on vioc.com. Some individual stores may run their own offers, so it’s worth asking yours, but don’t count on it. Businesses can apply for Fleet Advantage, which vioc.com says includes an exclusive commercial discount, control over which services drivers can approve, and a direct bill program. Remember that fleet pricing can’t be combined with the consumer coupons.
Tips to pay less at Valvoline
- Compare national and store coupons every time: the store page can list a bigger new customer discount.
- Check the expiration date. Coupon sets rotate, and the ones we saw run out at the end of October or mid-November.
- Know your oil type before you go. The synthetic coupon is worth more, but only use synthetic if your vehicle needs or benefits from it.
- Use the additional services coupon for recommended extras instead of paying full price.
- Ask for the price before the work starts, since premium filters and extra quarts cost more.
- Ignore “50% off” printable coupons from unofficial sites. We didn’t see any such offer on vioc.com.
