What the Panda Express survey is

The survey is Panda Express’s guest feedback program. The official site, pandaguestexperience.com, is powered by SMG (Service Management Group), a company that runs customer surveys for restaurant chains. Its footer links to SMG’s privacy policy and terms, and to the Panda Restaurant Group privacy policy.

The page asks for your candid feedback. It does not describe a reward. Copycat guides say the reward is a free entrée when you buy a 2-entrée plate on your next visit. However, the same guides contradict each other on the time limits. One says the receipt code expires 48 hours after your visit, then the validation code is good for 30 days. Treat these numbers as unconfirmed. The offer, deadline, and expiration date printed on your receipt are what count.

Survey rules: what we could and couldn’t confirm

Receipt required: Yes. You need either the 25-digit survey code or the store number, date, time and order number from your receipt.
One survey per receipt: Guides say each receipt allows one survey and one validation code. This is standard for SMG surveys, but Panda doesn’t state it on the survey page.
Age: The survey page doesn’t state an age limit. Some guides say 18 or older. Panda’s general website terms say you must be at least 13 to use its services.
Deadline and validity: Not shown on the official page. Read the fine print on your receipt.

Enter the 25-digit survey code. The site splits it into six boxes (4, 5, 4, 4, 4 and 4 digits).
No code? Click “I do not have a survey code on my receipt” and enter the store number, date, time and order number.
Answer the questions about your visit honestly.
If a validation code appears at the end, write it on your receipt right away.
Bring that receipt on your next visit and follow the offer terms printed on it.

Troubleshooting

The survey code doesn’t work

Check each group of digits again. The code is 25 digits long and easy to mistype. If it still fails, use the “no survey code” option and enter the store number, date, time and order number. Your receipt may also be too old. Guides suggest taking the survey soon after your visit.

There’s no survey on my receipt

Not every receipt carries an invitation. Without one, there’s no survey reward to claim. You can still send feedback through the contact form on pandaexpress.com, which lets you upload a photo of your receipt.

I lost my validation code

Write it down before you close the page. If you forget, you’ll likely need to take a new survey with a new receipt. We found no official way to recover a lost code.

Watch out for fake survey sites

Many sites use “Panda” or “feedback” in their names with odd endings. They aren’t run by Panda Express. Never enter payment details or your password on a survey site. Type the address exactly as it appears on your receipt.

The survey reward is a one-time perk. Panda Rewards, the free loyalty program, pays you on every order. Here is what pandaexpress.com says:
