McDonald’s Survey (2026): McDVoice Explained

Last updated: October 2026 · The offer on McDonald’s survey receipts changes by restaurant and over time. Your receipt is the final word.
- Survey site: The McDonald’s US guest survey is at mcdvoice.com. Enter the 26-digit survey code from the middle of your receipt, finish the survey, and you get a validation code for the offer printed on that receipt.
- Survey reward: The reward is not fixed. Recent reports describe a free sandwich or a buy-one-get-one deal, but the offer on your own receipt is what counts.
- Limit: mcdvoice.com says you can take up to five surveys per month per restaurant.
- Best everyday perk: MyMcDonald’s Rewards in the app gives 100 points per $1 on eligible items. You can start redeeming at 1,500 points.
McDonald’s prints a survey invitation on many receipts. If you answer a few questions at McDVoice, you get a code that unlocks the offer printed on that receipt. Below we cover what we could confirm on the official survey site, what we couldn’t, and how to make sure your code actually works.

What is the McDVoice survey?
McDVoice is McDonald’s guest satisfaction survey for US restaurants. Service Management Group (SMG) runs it, and the site notes that McDonald’s owns the survey data. When you finish, the site gives you a validation code.
The survey is only the way in. The actual reward is whatever offer is printed on your receipt. In 2025, Tasting Table and Chowhound described offers such as a free sandwich or a buy-one-get-one item. Both also said offers vary by location and change over time.
McDVoice survey rules
- Receipt required: You need a McDonald’s receipt with a survey code. If there is no 26-digit code, the site has a backup form that asks for store, date, time, order and amount details from the receipt.
- Five per month per restaurant: mcdvoice.com states this limit on both entry pages.
- Each code works once: SMG’s survey terms say a survey tied to a unique code can’t be completed if that code was already used.
- Age: SMG’s terms set a minimum age of 13 unless the brand sets a different one. McDVoice itself doesn’t list an age.
- Honest answers are fine: The site says completing the survey and redeeming the offer don’t depend on your answers or how satisfied you were.
- Deadline and expiration: We couldn’t find a deadline to take the survey or an expiration date for the offer on mcdvoice.com. Guides that quote exact day counts aren’t official. Read the dates printed on your receipt.
- Purchase on redemption: Whether you must buy something to use the offer depends on the wording on your receipt. Many survey offers say “with purchase.” Check before you go.
How to take the McDVoice survey
- Keep your receipt. Find the survey invitation and the 26-digit code in the middle.
- Type mcdvoice.com into your browser exactly as printed. Don’t use look-alike sites with extra words or odd endings in the address. They aren’t run by McDonald’s.
- Enter the code in the boxes shown (five groups of five digits, then one last digit). No code? Use the “If you do not have a 26-digit code” link and fill in the receipt details.
- Answer the questions about your visit. Your ratings don’t affect the reward.
- On the last screen, write the validation code on your receipt right away.
- On your next visit, show the receipt with the code to the crew and ask for the offer, at the restaurant printed on the receipt if the offer says so.

McDVoice code not working? Fixes
- “Code invalid” on the site: Recheck each group of digits. A 0 and an 8 are easy to mix up on faded thermal paper. If it still fails, try the no-code form with the store number, date, time, order number and amount.
- “Already used”: Each code works once. If you closed the page before writing the validation code down, there is no official way to get it back.
- No survey on the receipt: Not every receipt carries an invitation. Mobile app and delivery orders may print differently. Without an invitation, there’s no offer to claim.
- Restaurant won’t accept it: Check the expiration date and any “with purchase” or location wording on the receipt. Offers and participation vary by restaurant. If you think the store made a mistake, contact McDonald’s through the official site or app.
McDVoice in Spanish
Yes. The mcdvoice.com homepage has an Español link that opens the survey in Spanish. The code and steps are the same.
Is there a McDVoice sweepstakes?
We found no sweepstakes or prize drawing on mcdvoice.com, and SMG’s survey terms don’t mention one. Separately, McDonald’s runs Monopoly at McDonald’s as its own game in the app. That game has its own official rules and has nothing to do with McDVoice.

MyMcDonald’s Rewards: the steadier way to save
A survey offer is one item now and then. The MyMcDonald’s Rewards program in the McDonald’s app pays on every eligible order. Here’s what McDonald’s own pages said when we checked in October 2026:
- Earn rate: 100 points for every $1 spent on eligible products. Taxes, fees, gift card loads and app delivery fees don’t count.
- Redeem from 1,500 points: Tiers run from 1,500 points (items like hash browns or a vanilla cone) to 7,000 points (items like a Big Mac or a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets). Tiers can change, so check the app.
- One reward per order.
- Points expire: on the first day of the month after the sixth month from when you earned them.
- How to earn: order in the app, scan your code at the counter or kiosk, or give the 4-digit code at the drive-thru speaker.
- Forgot to scan? The app has an “Add Missing Points from Receipt” option. It uses the restaurant number, visit date and time, order number and total.
More ways to save at McDonald’s
- Check the Deals tab in the app. McDonald’s says you must opt in to Rewards for app deals, and participation varies.
- Look at the McValue menu on mcdonalds.com for lower-priced items and meal deals. Prices vary by restaurant.
- Order pickup in the app instead of third-party delivery. McDonald’s says third-party delivery orders can’t redeem Rewards.
