MOD Pizza is known for build-your-own pizzas and salads, with unlimited toppings for one price. The old coupon codes for this chain have expired. The real ways to save in 2026 are the MOD Rewards app, a few standing promotions on MOD’s official terms page, and smart ordering. Here’s what we checked on modpizza.com this month.

How MOD Rewards works
MOD Rewards is free and is the main way to save at MOD Pizza. You earn 1 point for every $1 you spend on qualifying purchases at participating locations. You don’t earn points on alcohol, gift cards, tax, tips, delivery fees, promotional discounts or orders from third-party apps like DoorDash or Uber Eats. Points usually post within 24 hours.
| Points | Reward |
|---|---|
| 50 | Free 16 oz fountain drink |
| 85 | Free No Name Cake |
| 110 | Free CinnaMOD |
| 125 | Free Cheesy Garlic Bread |
| 175 | Free regular-size pizza or regular-size salad |
The rewards list above comes from MOD’s rewards page in October 2026. MOD’s separate terms page still describes rewards at 50, 100 and 150 points, so check the app for the exact menu at your store.
Steps to start saving
- Download the MOD Rewards app or create an account at modpizza.com.
- Place your first order as a member with a regular pizza or salad to earn the free regular pizza or salad.
- Order in the app or online while signed in. For in-store orders, scan your receipt within 7 days (no more than 3 receipts per 24 hours).
- Redeem points in the app on a later order. You can’t redeem in the same order that earned them, and there’s usually a 4-hour wait after you last earned points.
- Use your points within a year, because they expire on a rolling basis one year after you earn them.
MOD Rewards rules to know
- You must be a U.S. resident (including U.S. territories) and at least 13. Members aged 13 to 18 need a parent or guardian’s OK.
- You can have one account per person, and it can’t be transferred.
- Points have no cash value and can’t be used for alcohol, gift cards or the MOD FUNdle.
- If you earn no points for a year, MOD can make your account inactive. A new purchase reactivates it.
- MOD’s official rewards pages don’t mention a birthday reward, so don’t count on one.
Is there a MOD Pizza promo code?
Not a public one. MOD’s official site and terms list no general promo code for October 2026. Some coupon sites still show codes from past promotions or codes for a single franchise location. Those usually fail at checkout. MOD’s current deals work through the Rewards app or through printed certificates and bookmarks. You don’t type them in at checkout. If you see a code, try it at checkout before you count on it.
MOD Pizza ownership and store closures
MOD Pizza was founded in Seattle and grew to about 500 locations in 28 states and Canada. In July 2024, Elite Restaurant Group bought the struggling chain. Reports at the time said MOD had been close to bankruptcy. MOD is still open under that ownership, but it has kept closing stores. In 2025 and 2026, trade press reported closures in Virginia, Kentucky and South Carolina, plus a few planned openings, such as in Sacramento. Before you drive over or place an order, check the location finder on modpizza.com or in the app. MOD Rewards is honored only at participating locations.
MOD Pizza catering
MOD offers catering bundles that each serve about 10 people family-style. The Signature Favorites bundle includes 5 signature pizzas, 2 large salads and 2 gallons of iced tea or lemonade. The Classic Favorites bundle has 5 pepperoni or cheese pizzas, 2 large salads and 2 gallons of drinks. There are also 7-pizza packs, plus add-ons like Cheesy Garlic Bread, CinnaMOD and trays of No Name Cakes. Individual pizza and salad boxes are available too. Order at least 24 hours ahead through catering.modpizza.com. The catering page doesn’t list prices or catering discounts, so ask your local store for a quote.
Schools and clubs can host a MOD fundraiser. MOD’s homepage says any fundraiser hosted between August 24 and November 15 is entered for a chance to win $1,000.
More ways to save at MOD Pizza
- Toppings are unlimited: MOD charges one price no matter how many toppings you add, so load up instead of ordering extra sides.
- Order direct: Orders through third-party delivery apps earn no points and don’t qualify for Kids Eat Free Sundays. Pick up through the MOD app instead.
- Plan family meals for Sunday: Kids Eat Free Sundays has no per-customer limit, according to MOD’s terms.
- Save points for pizza: 175 points for a regular pizza or salad is usually a better use of points than a drink.
- Watch the app in fall: MOD runs limited-time menu items and member offers, and they show up in the app first.
