Last updated: October 2026 · Offers can vary by location. Always check the Jimmy John’s app or website for the rewards and deals available to your account.
- No public promo code works sitewide right now. Jimmy John’s doesn’t publish general coupon codes; the old “10% off” and “free shipping” codes found online are not real Jimmy John’s offers.
- Best free deal: join JJ Rewards (free) and get a free sandwich after your first $5+ order.
- Then: earn 10 points per $1 spent and trade points for free food, from a side of ranch (150 points) to a toasted sandwich (2,000 points). Members also get a birthday surprise.
Searching for a Jimmy John’s coupon or promo code? Most “codes” you’ll find on coupon sites are expired or made up. The real way to save at Jimmy John’s in 2026 is its loyalty program, JJ Rewards, plus a few smart ordering habits. Here’s exactly how it works.
Jimmy John’s deals that work (October 2026)
| Offer | Who it’s for | What you get | How to get it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sign-up reward | New JJ Rewards members | Free Regular Favorite, Original or Plain Slim® sandwich | Create an account, then place a first order of $5+ |
| Points for purchases | All members | 10 points per $1 spent (subtotal) | Order in the app, online, by phone or in store |
| Birthday surprise | All members | A treat on your birthday | Add your birthday to your account |
| Exclusive offers | All members | Special deals sent to your account | Check the Rewards tab in the app |
Is there a Jimmy John’s promo code?
Not a public one. Jimmy John’s focuses its discounts on JJ Rewards members, so deals appear inside your account instead of as codes anyone can type in. If a site lists a code like “10% off sitewide” or “free shipping”, skip it: Jimmy John’s doesn’t ship sandwiches, and those codes don’t come from the brand.
Occasionally, Jimmy John’s sends limited-time offers to members by email or in the app. Those are tied to your account, so the best “coupon” is simply being signed up and logged in when you order.
How JJ Rewards works
JJ Rewards replaced the old Freaky Fast Rewards program in late September 2025. Instead of surprise rewards, you now earn points on every order and choose what to spend them on.
- Create a free account on the Jimmy John’s app or website.
- Get your free sandwich: after your first order of $5 or more as a member, you receive a reward for a Regular size Favorite, Original or Plain Slim® sandwich.
- Earn 10 points for every $1 spent on the subtotal, whether you order in the app, online, by phone or in store. In store or by phone, give the phone number linked to your account.
- Convert points to a reward on the Rewards tab (app or online), then redeem it at checkout or in the restaurant.

JJ Rewards rules to know
- One reward per transaction. Plan bigger rewards for solo orders.
- Points expire 12 months after you earn them, and each converted reward has its own expiration date shown in your account.
- Extras aren’t covered: a reward covers the base item and free customizations, but paid add-ons are charged.
- Gift card purchases don’t earn points.
- Rewards can’t be transferred or sold to someone else.
- In store: convert your points to a reward in the app or online first, then give your phone number at the register.
More ways to save at Jimmy John’s
- Use your sign-up sandwich wisely: the free Regular Favorite is the highest-value option among the eligible sandwiches.
- Pick up instead of delivery to avoid delivery fees and tips when you’re close to a store.
- Try a Little John: a mini version of any Original sandwich, handy when you don’t need a full sandwich.
- Combine points with group orders: when you pay for the office lunch, the whole subtotal earns points for your account.
- Keep your birthday in your profile so you don’t miss the birthday reward.
