Quick answer
  • What it is: Chick-fil-A One is Chick-fil-A’s free rewards program. You earn 10 to 13 points per $1 on qualifying orders and trade points for free food, starting at 200 points.
  • Tiers: Member (start), Silver at 1,000 points, Red at 4,000 points and Signature at 10,000 points.
  • Points per $1: Member 10, Silver 11, Red 12, Signature 13.
  • Expiration: Points do not expire, but rewards do. Points that count toward your tier reset to zero every January 1.
  • Birthday: Add your birthday to your account, then check the Rewards tab in the app on your birthday for a free treat.

Chick-fil-A does not offer coupons or public promo codes. Its official answer is to point you to Chick-fil-A One, a points program inside the Chick-fil-A App and website. This guide explains the four tiers, how many points you earn, what you can get, and how to fix missing points. Every figure below comes from Chick-fil-A’s own pages, checked in October 2026.

How Chick-fil-A One works

You sign up in the Chick-fil-A App or on chick-fil-a.com. Then you earn points each time you buy food with your account. That can be a mobile order, or a register or drive-thru order where you scan your Chick-fil-A One QR code. If you forget to scan, you can submit your receipt later (see troubleshooting below).

Points go into one balance. You spend that balance on rewards from a menu inside the app. Your local restaurant may also send you “surprise” rewards, which show up on the app’s home screen or in My Rewards.

Not every purchase counts. Buying a gift card or eGift card does not earn points. You can still earn points when you pay with a gift card, as long as you scan your membership code. Orders placed through outside delivery apps also do not earn points.

Chick-fil-A One tiers and points per $1

There are four tiers. Each one keeps the perks of the tier below it and adds more. Here is what Chick-fil-A lists on its official program page.

Tier Points needed in a year Points per $1 Added perk
Chick-fil-A One Member 0 (join free) 10 Earn and redeem points, local restaurant rewards, early news on new menu items, saved favorites
Silver 1,000 11 Gift rewards to family and friends using your points
Red 4,000 12 Free Backstage Tour at the Home Office for you and up to 5 guests
Signature 10,000 13 Access to rewards only for Signature members, plus unique experiences and voting opportunities

A simple way to think about it: at 10 points per $1, reaching 1,000 points takes about $100 in qualifying purchases. That is our estimate, not an official figure. Bonus points from local offers can speed things up.

How to redeem Chick-fil-A One points

  1. Sign in to the Chick-fil-A App or chick-fil-a.com.
  2. Tap “Rewards” in the app (or open My Rewards on the website). Your points and tier show at the top.
  3. Pick an item from the list. Rewards are grouped by point range.
  4. Tap “Redeem points for this reward.” The item moves into “My Rewards.”
  5. When you order, select “Redeem reward” to add it to a mobile order, or scan your QR code at the register.

One tip: scanning your QR code at the register will automatically use any reward that matches an item in your order. It starts with the reward that expires soonest. If you want to save a reward, turn off the redemption toggle first, or ask the team member to remove your membership ID.

Rewards Chick-fil-A lists officially

Chick-fil-A shows these examples on its program page. The full menu in your app may be longer and can change.

Reward Points Spend needed at Member rate (est.)
Icedream cone 200 About $20
Medium Waffle Potato Fries 400 About $40
2-count Chick-n-Strips 600 About $60
12-count Chick-fil-A Nuggets 1,200 About $120

The last column is our own math at 10 points per $1. A Signature member earning 13 points per $1 needs less, about $92 for the 12-count nuggets.

Birthday reward and gifting

Every tier gets a birthday reward. Add your birthday to your Chick-fil-A One profile, then open the Rewards tab on your birthday. Chick-fil-A calls it a “free treat” but does not name the exact item on its official pages, so it may differ by year or location.

Gifting starts at Silver. You redeem points for a reward, choose “Gift to a friend,” and share the link any way you like. Your points are used when you create the link. Each link works only once. Only rewards bought with points can be gifted.

From April 2026 through summer 2027, Chick-fil-A is also testing “Pilot Rewards” at a very small number of restaurants. Examples include free size upgrades, birthday or membership anniversary rewards, and giftable rewards. No purchase is needed for these, but most members will not see them.

Fine print: expiration and tier qualification

  • Points: Chick-fil-A says reward points do not expire.
  • Rewards: Rewards do expire. Check each date in Rewards, then My Rewards. Chick-fil-A cannot reload expired rewards. Official pages do not list one fixed number of days.
  • Tier year: You have until December 31 each year to reach or keep a tier. On January 1, your tier points go back to zero and do not roll over.
  • Status check: Open Rewards, then My Status in the app, or the Points section of your online profile.
  • Where it works: Not at Chick-fil-A Express or licensed spots like airports, college campuses, hospitals and office buildings.
  • Delivery: Rewards work on Chick-fil-A Delivery and DoorDash orders placed in the Chick-fil-A App or website. Orders in third-party apps don’t earn points.
  • Age: Members must be 18 or older.

Troubleshooting Chick-fil-A One problems

  • Forgot to scan: Submit a missed transaction within 30 days. In the app, go to Account, then Transactions, then Transaction history, and tap the “Forgot to scan?” option. You need the restaurant number, date, order number and order total from a readable receipt.
  • Limits on missed scans: One transaction per request, one request per day. Each account also has a lifetime cap on approved requests. Chick-fil-A does not say what the cap is.
  • Points look low: Missed-scan points are based on your total before tax, times your current tier rate.
  • Two accounts at once: You can scan more than one account to use rewards, but only the last account scanned earns points.
  • “Must be 18” error: The app reads your app store age range. If you’d rather not share it, sign in through a web browser instead.
  • Suspicious activity or stolen points: Report it through the Chick-fil-A One support pages, or call 1-866-232-2040 (Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET).
