Popeyes Survey (2026): How It Works

Last updated: October 2026 · The survey address on your receipt may differ; the offer you get is shown by the survey, not by us.

Quick answer
  • Where to take it: When we typed tellpopeyes.com in October 2026, it opened a Popeyes-branded survey page “Powered by Momos,” a restaurant feedback software company.
  • What you need: Your receipt. The first page asks for the restaurant number, visit date, visit time and order total.
  • The reward: The start page says you finish the survey “to receive your offer.” It does not say what the offer is, so we can’t promise a free item.
  • Avoid copycats: Many look-alike sites (tellpopeyes with extra endings like .biz or .it.com) are not Popeyes. Never pay or give card details for a survey.
  • Better steady savings: Popeyes Rewards is free and gives 10 points per $1 spent, per the official terms revised January 26, 2026.

The Popeyes survey is a short feedback form you fill out after a visit. You use the details printed on your receipt, answer some questions about your order, and the survey says you get an offer at the end. Below we explain what we actually saw on the survey page, what we could not confirm, and how Popeyes Rewards works if you want a reliable way to earn free food.

How the Popeyes survey works

Popeyes, like many fast food chains, asks guests to rate their visit. The survey we reached is hosted by Momos, a company that makes guest feedback tools for restaurant chains. The page carries Popeyes branding and opens when you go to tellpopeyes.com. We could not find Popeyes itself naming this address on popeyes.com, so we treat it as the likely survey but not a fully confirmed official link.

The welcome screen is simple. It invites you to tell Popeyes how they did today “to receive your offer.” There was no other text about prizes, cash, gift cards or drawings.

How to take the Popeyes survey, step by step

  1. Keep your Popeyes receipt. You need details that are printed on it.
  2. Check your receipt for a survey invite or web address. If it shows one, use that address first.
  3. If not, go to tellpopeyes.com. It should open a page titled “Popeyes Survey” with “Powered by Momos” at the bottom.
  4. Tap “Start the Survey.”
  5. Enter the restaurant number. Tap “Where is my restaurant number?” to see a sample receipt. The store number is printed near the top.
  6. Enter the visit date and visit time from the receipt, then the order total.
  7. Tap “Continue” and answer the questions honestly.
  8. At the end, save or write down any offer or code the survey shows you, along with any rules it lists.

What the survey asks for (and what it shouldn’t)

The first page asked only for order details: restaurant number, visit date, visit time and order total. A sample receipt in the help pop-up points out where each one is printed.

A real feedback survey has no reason to ask for your card number, bank details, Social Security number or a password. If any page does, close it. You also should never have to pay a fee to “claim” a survey reward.

Survey reward: what we could confirm

The survey start page says you will get an offer. It does not say what that offer is, how long it lasts, or which stores accept it. We found no official survey rules on popeyes.com. Popeyes’ published Offer Terms page lists menu deals but nothing about a survey reward.

So, our honest advice:

  • Do not count on a specific free item until the survey shows it to you.
  • Read the fine print on the offer screen (expiration date, one per guest, participating restaurants).
  • Ask the crew at the counter if you are unsure whether your local store accepts it. Many Popeyes are franchised, and offers can vary.

Watch out for look-alike Popeyes survey sites

Search results for “tellpopeyes” are full of copycat pages. They use names like tellpopeyes.biz, tellpopeyes.it.com, tellpopeyes.io, tellpopeyes.me and others. Some promise big prizes, such as gift cards worth hundreds of dollars. We found nothing from Popeyes that backs up those claims.

Simple ways to stay safe:

  • Type the address from your receipt yourself instead of clicking ads or random links.
  • Check that the page shows Popeyes branding and “Powered by Momos,” like the one we tested.
  • Skip any site that asks for payment info, asks you to download an app from an unknown source, or wants you to sign up for unrelated offers.

Troubleshooting the Popeyes survey

  • popeyessurvey.com won’t open: It did not load for us in October 2026. Try the address printed on your receipt or tellpopeyes.com.
  • Can’t find the restaurant number: Look for “Store #” near the top of the receipt, above the sale number.
  • Lost your receipt: The survey needs receipt details, so you may not be able to finish it without one.
  • Bad experience you want fixed: The Popeyes FAQ says to use its customer support options for feedback about a restaurant visit. Go to popeyes.com/support.
  • No language option: We only saw English on the first pages. We could not confirm a Spanish version.

Popeyes Rewards: the official way to earn free food

If you eat at Popeyes often, the loyalty program is a more reliable deal than the survey, because its rules are published. Here is what the official Popeyes Rewards terms (last revised January 26, 2026) say:

  • How to join: Create a free account in the Popeyes app or click “Sign Up” on popeyes.com. You are enrolled automatically. One account per person.
  • How you earn: 10 points for every $1.00 spent, not counting taxes, fees or discounts, at participating U.S. restaurants.
  • Ways to earn: App and website orders; in the restaurant by scanning the QR code in the app or paying with a card linked to your account; Uber Eats orders when you are signed in.
  • Forgot to scan? Visit popeyes.com/claim-points within 48 hours of your in-store purchase. You need a valid receipt, and only one receipt per day counts.
  • Daily limit: You can earn points on up to three transactions per day.
  • Not eligible: Buying or reloading a Popeyes gift card does not earn points.
  • Expiration: All points expire 180 days after your last eligible purchase. Buy something at least once every 180 days to keep them.
  • Redeeming in store: Add the reward to your account first, then have your app QR code scanned.
  • Extras: The terms say members may get a welcome reward and a birthday reward, plus bonus point offers, challenges and member happy hour deals. The terms do not list the exact items.
  • Old cards: Physical Popeyes Rewards cards were discontinued on March 25, 2023.

Popeyes’ rewards page also shows a “FREE treat” for new sign-ups with a $5 minimum purchase, and lists sample rewards such as 2 biscuits or regular fries for 300 points and a chicken sandwich for 600 points. That page has no date, so check the Rewards tab in the app for the current menu and point costs. The official terms also say the program is available in select U.S. cities.

More ways to save at Popeyes

  • Check the Offers tab on popeyes.com or in the app before you order.
  • Scan your app QR code every time you pay in the store so you don’t miss points.
  • If you forget, use popeyes.com/claim-points the same day or the next. The 48-hour window is short.
  • Keep receipts until you have finished both the survey and any points claim.

Frequently asked questions

What is the official Popeyes survey website?

When we tested it in October 2026, tellpopeyes.com opened a Popeyes-branded survey hosted by Momos, a restaurant feedback company. We could not find a popeyes.com page that names the survey address, so always use the address printed on your receipt if there is one.

What do I get for doing the Popeyes survey?

The survey says you will “receive your offer” when you finish. It does not name the offer up front, and we found no official survey rules, so we can’t confirm a specific free item.

Do I need a receipt for the Popeyes survey?

Yes. The first page asks for the restaurant number, visit date, visit time and order total, which are all printed on your receipt.

Is tellpopeyes.com legit or a scam?

The tellpopeyes.com address led us to a Popeyes-branded survey page. Many look-alike sites with other endings, such as .biz, .io or .it.com, are not Popeyes. A real survey will never ask for payment or card details.

How many points do you get per dollar with Popeyes Rewards?

You earn 10 points for every $1.00 spent, not counting taxes, fees or discounts, according to the official Popeyes Rewards terms. Points expire 180 days after your last eligible purchase.
