Does T-Mobile Offer a Military Discount? (2026): Yes, 4 Lines for $25 Each
Last updated: November 8, 2026 · On November 8, 2026 we checked T-Mobile’s official military plans page (t-mobile.com/cell-phone-plans/military-discount-plans), its T-Mix launch announcement in the T-Mobile Newsroom, and its home internet deals page. T-Mobile can change plans, prices and eligibility rules at any time, so confirm the current terms on t-mobile.com before you switch.

- Yes, T-Mobile has a military discount: it is built into its plans as T-Mix w/ Military Savings. T-Mobile advertises 4 lines for $25/month per line on T-Mix Standard w/ Military Savings ($140/month for 4 lines before the $10/line AutoPay discount).
- Who qualifies: active-duty military, veterans, National Guard, Reserve and Gold Star family members, plus their families on the same account.
- How to verify / get it: choose a military plan in a store, by phone or online, then verify your status (at activation or within 45 days) with a document such as a DD214, a leave and earnings statement, orders or a DD1300.
- Key limit / fine print: the military person must be the primary account holder. No Credit Check and Prepaid customers are not eligible. If you don’t verify in time, your plan moves to regular T-Mix pricing.
- No public promo code: there is no coupon code. The discount comes from the plan you choose and your verified status.
If you serve, served, or lost a family member in service, you are probably trying to find out what T-Mobile actually charges you and whether the military plan is worth switching to. T-Mobile introduced its T-Mix plans in November 2026, and its military page now lists T-Mix w/ Military Savings plans, so older articles quoting “Go5G Military” or “Experience” military prices may not match what the site shows today.
This page covers the current T-Mix w/ Military Savings prices, who qualifies, which documents T-Mobile accepts, the fine print, and other ways to save. Every figure comes from t-mobile.com as checked on November 8, 2026.

How the T-Mobile military discount works
T-Mobile doesn’t take a percentage off your bill. It sells separate military versions of its T-Mix plans at lower prices. In November 2026 these are T-Mix Saver, Standard, More and Loaded w/ Military Savings. T-Mobile’s newsroom says T-Mix is also offered at a discount for 55+ customers, first responders and college students.
The military plans page lists prices that don’t include the AutoPay discount. With AutoPay on an eligible payment method, you save another $10 per line each month. That is how the headline works: T-Mix Standard w/ Military Savings costs $140/month for 4 lines, minus $40 in AutoPay discounts, which comes to $100, or $25 per line.
Here is how the military plans compare with regular T-Mix for 3 lines, before AutoPay, as listed on the same page:
| Plan (3 lines) | Regular T-Mix | With Military Savings | Difference per month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard (3 Picks) | $130 | $115 | $15 |
| More (6 Picks) | $185 | $160 | $25 |
| Loaded (9 Picks) | $230 | $195 | $35 |
With AutoPay, the 3-line prices T-Mobile shows drop to $85 (Standard), $130 (More) and $165 (Loaded). Extra lines on the military plans are listed at $25 for the 6th line on Standard, $35 per line for lines 6 to 12 on More, and $45 per line for lines 6 to 12 on Loaded. The page doesn’t show a price for T-Mix Saver w/ Military Savings, so check it in a store or at checkout.
“Picks” are T-Mix’s way of choosing benefits such as partner subscriptions, T-Mobile perks or device promotions. The number of Picks depends on the plan tier and how many eligible lines you have. Home Internet, Fiber, watch and tablet lines don’t add Picks.
Who qualifies for T-Mobile military plans?
- Active-duty military, including deployed members (a spouse or family member can verify for them).
- Veterans and retirees.
- National Guard and Reserve members.
- Gold Star family members (verified with a DD1300).
- Family lines: family members can be on the plan, but the military person or Gold Star family member must be the primary account holder, and the account must keep a valid military line.
- Not eligible: No Credit Check and Prepaid customers, and government accounts. T-Mobile for Business customers can get up to 12 lines.

How to get the T-Mobile military discount, step by step
- Pick a plan. Compare T-Mix Saver, Standard, More and Loaded w/ Military Savings on T-Mobile’s military plans page. You aren’t moved to a military plan automatically. You must activate one or switch to one.
- Make the military person the account holder. The veteran, service member or Gold Star family member must be the primary account holder.
- Sign up. Order online, visit a T-Mobile store, or call (855) 623-4373. Existing customers can call 611 from their phone.
- Verify your status. Verify at activation, or use T-Mobile’s online military verification page within 45 days. T-Mobile says this usually takes less than 10 minutes, but you may need to upload documents.
- Have a document ready. Accepted documents include a DD214, a leave and earnings statement, orders, a power of attorney (active duty), NGB 22 or NGB 23, a VA ID card, VA form 26-1880, an honorable discharge certificate, a retirement certificate, or a driver’s license that shows veteran status in states that print it. Gold Star families use a DD1300.
- Turn on AutoPay. Use a debit card, bank account or T-Mobile Visa to get the $10/line discount. If you didn’t use one at checkout, change your AutoPay payment method in your settings before your first bill arrives.
Rules and fine print
- 45-day verification window: if you don’t verify within 45 days of activation, T-Mobile moves you to a regular T-Mix plan. The military page gives two amounts for the price increase: “up to $15/line per month” in one place and “up to $20/line per month” in another. Plan for the higher amount.
- Status changes: T-Mobile says a later change in your military status won’t affect your eligibility.
- AutoPay matters: T-Mobile’s headline prices include AutoPay. Without an eligible payment method, you pay $10 more per line per month.
- Taxes and fees are extra: the page lists regulatory and telco recovery fees, government surcharges that vary by location, and a device connection charge.
- Not an introductory rate: T-Mobile says the monthly price is not an introductory rate and doesn’t require a yearly contract.
- Picks have rules: Picks can be remixed every 3 months. Changing your account or Picks can affect device promotions already on your account.
Other T-Mobile discount programs
| Program | Who it’s for | Official price (before AutoPay) |
|---|---|---|
| T-Mix w/ 55+ Savings | Customers 55 and older | Standard $60 (1 line) / $95 (2 lines); Saver is limited to 2 lines |
| T-Mix w/ First Responder Savings | First responders | Same base prices as the military plans on Loaded and More ($90 and $70 for 1 line) |
| Regular T-Mix | Everyone | Standard $65, More $85, Loaded $105 (1 line) |
For home internet, T-Mobile’s deals page didn’t list a military-specific discount on November 8, 2026. It does say the $10 AutoPay discount applies to home internet lines too.

Other real ways to save at T-Mobile (no code needed)
- AutoPay: $10/month off each phone or home internet line with a debit card, bank account or T-Mobile Visa.
- Add lines: on military plans the price per line falls as you add lines. That is how the 4-lines-for-$25 offer works.
- Device promotions with Picks: T-Mobile says T-Mix customers can still get a free phone or a new iPhone deal through eligible device promotions. Some require Picks and bill credits for the length of a finance agreement.
- Phone and home internet bundles: T-Mobile sells phone and home internet bundles. Check the bundle page for current pricing at your address.
Tips before you buy
- Have your DD214, LES, orders or DD1300 ready before you activate. Verifying on day one means you never see a temporary price increase.
- Make sure the eligible person is the primary account holder. Adding a veteran as a secondary line doesn’t unlock the plan.
- Compare the per-line totals with AutoPay, not the base prices. The savings over regular T-Mix grow with more lines and higher tiers.
- Count the Picks you’ll actually use. If you won’t use the subscriptions, Standard w/ Military Savings is usually the best value.
- Check fees and taxes at checkout. They vary by location and aren’t included in the advertised price.
